Apple Capital Gymnastics Policies
Annual Membership:
Apple Capital Gymnastics offers open enrollment allowing families to join and withdraw at any time. There is an annual membership fee of $50 per gymnast and $20 for siblings. Annual memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Year-Round Program:
Apple Capital Gymnastics offers a year round school year and summer program with tuition occurring every four weeks. Our school year program runs for nine months and our summer program for 2 months. If you are enrolled in our school year program and you want to continue through the summer you must re-enroll for that session.
Enrollment:
Enrollment is done in person, over the phone or by email after your account has been created and membership fee paid. Changing classes (day, time, or a class) is permitted at any time but dependent upon class availability. Enrollment is ongoing once enrolled. To withdraw from a class you must call or email the office before the next session begins. Apple Capital Gymnastics does not refund tuition if you unenroll your child during the current session. Students may enroll at anytime but is subject to class availability. We do offer a waitlist option for any classes that are full.
Tuition:
Tuition is due by the 10th of each month if not paid during “early bird” week. You can pay by credit/debit card, cash, or check. We also offer auto-pay option for families that have a credit/debit card on file. Families that are either on auto-pay or pay tuition during “early bird” week will receive a $5 discount per child. If payment isn’t received by the last week of the current session Apple Capital Gymnastics reserves the right to unenroll children that have delinquent accounts. Tuition is prorated for students that enroll in the middle of a session.
Make-Up Policy:
We allow up to ten make-up classes during the school year session. If you need to schedule a make-up please call the office to set up a day and time to do that. Note: There are no credits or refunds given for missed classes.
Class Cancellations:
We do our very best to run classes as scheduled each week; however on occasion we do have a coach call out due to illness, emergency or inclement weather. If we do need to cancel a class you will receive an EMAIL from us in the early afternoon on the scheduled day of class letting you know of the cancellation. Due to the amount of kids a coach has in a day we aren’t able to make personal phone calls. If a class is cancelled you can either request a credit for the missed class or schedule a make-up to attend on a different day.
Dress Code:
Leotards are required for girls. We sell them in our pro-shop or you can find them at most department stores. Shorts and/or capris are okay as long as they are not baggy. Boys may wear shorts or pants with an athletic style shirt. Clothing with zippers, metal clasps or buttons are NOT allowed. Long hair needs to be pulled back away from the face. No jewelry can be worn (stud earrings are okay). No extra clothing such as leg warmers, hoodies, skirts, etc. All students must have bare feet.
Drop Off/Pick Up Policy:
Parents are welcome to stay and watch their child as we have a viewing area upstairs or you can drop off and pick up at the end of class. If you are dropping off and picking up your child we ask that you child doesn’t wait for you outside or downstairs by themselves after class since we don’t have adult supervision downstairs. We would like it if the person picking up comes inside at the end of class.
Illness Policy:
Please don’t send your child to gym if he/she has a fever, runny nose, a cough or any other flu like symptoms. For recreational gymnasts we do offer make-up classes.
Behavior:
Good behavior must be used at all times. Gymnasts displaying disorderly conduct before or during class will be asked to sit out of the class.

USA Gymnastics cares deeply about the part the parent’s/guardian’s voice plays in preventing abuse in gymnastics. Reading our USA Gymnastics Safety & Response Policy is important for information related to misconduct in gymnastics and the standards to which our member clubs and professional members are held. Communication between parents, coaches, and club management is necessary for the success and well-being of every athlete. This dialogue will help us build a community that will ultimately keep athlete safety and well-being at the forefront of everything we do.
